Mary velayat


   

Mary velayat is located in a southeast part of Turkmenistan on lowland Turanskoj, within the limits of desert Kara Kum. An administrative centre of velayat - city Mary. Certainly, the most important sight of Merv is the mausoleum of Sultan Sandjar (1118-1157).
Almost 100 km are separated modern Bairamali, where also there is one of the most known medical and rest resort in Turkmenistan, from one of the most ancient on the Earth of civilizations, under assumptions of modern historians (academician V.Sarianidi), by the right applying on occurrence in the four of the ancient cultural world{*global*} centers, alongside with Egypt, Mesopotamia, China and India. The country Margush or Margiana (Gonur-depe) (II-I one thousand up to AD) - was well-known to the Ancient world the highest level of art and material culture.
